I will overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
